wow, it was almost ten years ago when she made her musical debut via avant's my first love. she released her debut album soul sista months later. right as she was beginning to garner some buzz, her career was interrupted by personal drama (she stabbed her then husband. now that's gangsta!). in 2005, she signed to cash money and released put your hands on me (a song that i purchased from itunes. back when i purchased tunes. lol). unfortunately, she ran into some drama with the label and her sophomore album was shelved. now she returns with a classy uptempo grown & sexy tune which serves as the lead single and title track from her forthcoming album, which is set to hit stores february 23.
