honey, miss shanice was the truth during the early 90s. signed to motown in 1991 after her stint at a&m records resulted only in minor hits, it wasn't until her breakthrough single i love your smile that the world took notice. in 1993 she contributed to the motion picture soundtrack of the underwhelming meteor man. i had the cassette single and i ran it until it literally popped. and don't get me started about her hair in the accompanying video. :-)

too funny-i just twittered hanice asking her to come to nyc...and guess what song i requested for her to sing lol...this is my ultimate favorite by her!!!!-i still rock this song on my ipod
